Tsvetana Pironkova

Born in Bulgaria, Tsvetana Pironkova, rose to fame at the Wimbledon in 2010 when she reached the semi-finals and played against Vera Zvonareva.

This year in 2011, ranked at 32, she defeated Vera Zvonareva(ranked 2) in the 3rd round of the ladies singles. The final scores of this match stood at 6-2,6-3.

Then the next senior player who suffered was Venus Williams(ranked 23) when Tsvetana Pironkova defeated her in the 4th Round of Wimbledon to reach to the quarter-finals and the final score of this match between Tsvetana Pironkova and Venus Williams was 6-2, 6-3.

She was getting close to the winning of this year's wimbledon but faltered in the Quarter-Finals and lost to Petra Kvitoa of Czech Republic and the final score was 3-6, 7-6(7-5), 2-6.

For sure, she was a delight to watch on the screen.

The General Sherman is a Giant Sequoia with a height of 83.8 metres (275 ft). As of 2002, the volume of its trunk measured about 1,487 cubic metres (52,513 cu ft), making it the largest known non-clonal tree by volume.

The tree is located in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park in the United States, east of Visalia, California. The tree is believed to be between 2,300 and 2,700 years old.

Eiffel Tower

This is the Eiffel Tower at night.

Built in 1889, The Eiffel Tower has become a global icon of France and also one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower stands 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall and weighs 7,300 tonnes while the entire structure, including non-metal components, is approximately 10,000 tonnes.
